'90 240 AW-70 206k,what i thought was my exhaust slapping the bottom of my car ended up being a broken transmision mount.I ordered a new one from FCP groton and will switch it out in a day or 2.how bad is it to drive my car like this,I'm down to one volvo and need to get to work and such.

I wouldn't drive it at all. I would order the rear bushing and seal kit while your at it.... I'm sure it has taken a beating.

I got the tailshaft bushing and housing seal a while back but haven't gotten around to having it pressed in.I now have a fair amount of play in the shaft so I guess I'll bite the bullet.I am gonna do the pinion seal as well and probably the center support and bushing.

Dude I would not drive it. Any problems with the tranny can do further damage to it. Just leave until it can be fixed. I feel that having to walk to work sure beats rebuilding a tranny which takes a shop about a week. So, be careful or drive really, really slow!
