Yeah, tinting really does make a difference in cabin temp though not a huge one. Couple of tips though...
1) Have a pro do it, someone who has been tinting windows a long time and who will be there ten years from now (relates to tip#2). Oftentimes, they may want to remove some of the glass from your car to do an even better looking job though at considerable extra cost.
2) Choose someone who offers a lifetime warranty against fade. After only ten years, the film on my turbo sedan has faded considerably and needs to be replaced, which will wind up costimg me about triple the cost of the original tint job.
