New Cam Gear install questions 200

Just recieved an aftermarket drilled cam gear and I need the correct way of installing it. I installed it using the 4 degree hole and installed it TDC hole. Do I need to rotate the cam 4 degree and line up the TDC and install the timing belt. Need help with this. Thanx

I have adjustable ones and the machined set off-set type and as I recall do this. It has a secondary key hole right? About 180 degrees but really 4 degrees off 180? You used the secondary hole, then youu should set the cam and belt as usual using the tdc mark, which is actually 4 degrees advanced. TDC on the crank and the dizzy on its edge mark. That way the cam is 4 ahead of the rest, what you want.
