I breifly did a search, came up empty handed, and looked thru the FAQ, but nothing about this..

My service light comes on (As it should @3k miles) and you can hit the button on the dash and it will reset the light.. But now.. everytime i turn the car on it comes on! I do have a check engine light on.. does the service light come on if there is more then 1 code stored or what?

Kinda stumped as to why the light keeps coming on no mater how many times I hit the reset buttom.. any ideas?Thanks! tom

Please forgive me if this does not apply but on my car I have to push the reset button on the instrument panel really hard to reset the service light. I don't think this is probably your problem though.

I feel stupid.. but yeah, I'd hit the button, and the light would go out.. I ended up holding the Button down reall hard and put the ignition to the on position and back off a few times.. and it finnaly went away. .. thanks, tom
