first my thanks for the help in my previous problem with the key cylinder...

ok 89 760, 175k miles,,, runs fine in park, take on road, runs fine then quits
all of a sudden???? can anyone provide a list for me to check, in order, with the cheapest items first ,,, ha ha ...

    After it stalls, and you wait 5 or 10 minutes, if it starts up again, then runs for awhile longer, then stalls, and it repeats this cycle consistently then I would be suspicious of a bad RPM sensor.

      Also check to make sure that the fuel pump runs for a couple of seconds when you briefly engage the starter. If the pump doesn't run, try resoldering the fuel pump relay according to the FAQ's, or just replace it.
