What are the better rotors for a 1991 240 Volvo, vented or not. I have been using the non-vented rotors.

I have a 90 240 and I am using vented Balo's from FCP groton. So far so good. I had ATE powerdiscs prior to this. Was happy with them as well, except the 'grooves' do wear down overtime which reduces stopping power. Just my experience, maybe others have better expereince with these. I suggest vented Balo's with PBR deluxe pads from FCP Groton.

    Cheers,
    Raj

Vented? Where? How? Hope you do not mean the vented ones with the drilled holes in them.. They seem to crack..

from what I remember the vented are much thicker and use different calipers so you don,t have a choice unless you are changing you calipers as well. Vented are better, but these aren't race cars either, so they don,t really need them, especially if you know how to use the gearbox for long descents.
