Anyone have a Brake Bleeder in Portland, OR, to Borrow? 200

I'm looking to borrow a brake bleeder tool from someone in Portland, Oregon. I'll take extremely good care of your tool (no contamination or overpressurization, etc.) and buy you a six pack of your favorite beer (or alternate.) I'll return it to you within a week (or sooner if you need, of course.) I've used Brickboard in the past to borrow the infamous rear trailing arm bushing tool (Thanks Peter!) and I certainly appreciated all the offerings of help. Brickboard is such a great resource. i do not live near there but I can tell you how I made mine for about $10.00 Went to the local Harbor Freight and bought a cheap, I think it was $8.99, pump up pressure sprayer for spraying insectcides and such,, anyway I took the sprayer end off and attached the hose to a spare cap I had and installed an old after market tire valve stem in the cap..Pumped up the sprayer withit full of fluid and it worked well.. Remember to get the little bottle sprayer not the one gallon size..Oh yea i used dot 4 fluid, So far it has not swelled the seals or the hose in the sprayer..

If you have a spare reservior cap drill and install a tire valve and then use a bicycle tire pump. I've used this method a few times.

Going a bit further on yama's suggestion...

Keep a look out for 2 of the bicycle pump heads. Bike pumps are sometimes cheap/scrap. Get yourself a length of tubing (about 6 feet, doesn't have to be high pressure) into which you can insert and clamp the heads.

This you will attach to a low pressure tire (under 10psi) on one end and the reservoir cap on the other.

Heres how to do it....
pput a stop under the pedal so it can't go lower than normal max apply travel.
put on your rubber gloves
get an assistant pedal pusher.
crack the RR bleeder screw and have brakes lightly applied till fluid comes out(sometimes they jam with crap).
cover the end of the bleed fitting with your gloved fingertip, and apply snug pressure with a little bias away from eyes and face.
have your assistant slowly pump the pedal untill new fluid is coming out.
keeping pressure on the bleeder nipple, tighten it up.
move to the next wheel closer to the master cyl.
You'll be ready to go to the beer store in 15 minutes.

One thing I couldn't figure out from Bently's or Haynes manuals is... Do I have to pull the wheels off. It looks to me like I jsut have to pull the front ones off.

lyou don't "have" to, but it is much easier if you do, or at least raise the car.
