Hello...
I'm a newby and this is my first post here. I am a veteran of Volvo for nearly 35 years and have owned several. My brother just retired from his Volvo repair business up in Maine, and while I have never been in the Volvo business, I've had no shortage of professional support, mostly free, we'll sorta free!
I can't say enough about the indistructable, tank armoured, never burn oil, go 300K, (230-B) and also with turbo too, no less, to boot!
But I've never owned a diesel Volvo, or 6 cyl. or any before 1984, or after 1990!
Currently, my second car is my 1990 740 slate gray wagon, and the dash and leather are still in tact, but has a young 170K and go's to the dump, and to the garden supply, and to the boat launch ramp, actually, it has more fun than my primary car, that one has to go to work everyday, what a drag!
Anyway, my name is Steve, and I do all my DIY and have touched nearly every nut and bolt on a 200 and 700 series. So I'll help where I can, and learn what nuts and bolts I've missed...........
