Caliper mounting shims 200 1993

Been trying to replace the warped and under-thickness reground Brembos (cross-drilled) front rotors on my 93 245. I bought some ATE vented rotors...too big in diameter..so had a machine shop remove the edge and bring them to 263mm outside diameter (they were 280mm).
Now they are 1mm too far inboard and rub against the inner edge of the caliper. I need a shim that is 0.5mm thick to add between the mounting bolt and the threaded hole in the strut. Where to get these??
Or has any one done a "ShadeTree" replacement? What else would take the pressure and heat? A thin washer? Where to get these?
Bentley lists 0.2 and 0.4mm shims (as neccesary) to center the caliper.
Any ideas?
Gracias,
el Raidman

If you don't have any thin washers, go into the kitchen and steal an Aluminum (pie) tray.

sounds like you got the wrong rotors. the 280mm fit the 700/900 cars. finding shims to fix it will not be something anyone can help you with. either, you are on your on in uncharted territory or you need to buy the correct rotors. good luck, chuck.
