ok my last chance for information,,, please!!!!

got the steering wheel off, ignition switch out, motor starts, runs fine.
now,,,, how do i unlock the steering wheel????
the key cylinder is still in the column, cant get it out.

this is my last try at this before i sell it for junk, hate to
cause its a great car but cant afford the 300 bucks for the dealer to change the ignition switch out.

I got my key cylinder out using a Dremel grinder with a 1/8 ins HSS bit. You have to get at the little pin that is about 1/16 ins from the back of the cylinder flange. You cut a long slot around the ali and the pin and it's fixing are extracted as a unit, then you can pull the lock out. I have read that if you drill into the lock with a 3/8 ins drill, you can then take all the bits out and just push in the pin, with a bit of fiddling, to emulate the key in position 2.
