Got a Head? 1800 1970

Anyone got an E or F head lying around. My E head has a bad intake valve, so I'm looking for a head that was refurbished but never installed. I'm probably dreamin'. But if someone can find me one, I'd gladly include a swap for my "E" head as part of the deal.

Thanks for the responses. I think Matt's advice is good. That was my original plan. However if there was a head like KLR142 suggeest within driving distance, that would probably save me time and money. I'm in South Central Pennsylvania.

I'm in Central NY and MAY have a couple of heads buried in the shop somewhere. Can you give me a casting number? (it's been a long time since I did any B20 work)

I've got a lead on one... An F head that was redone and has either 500 miles on it or 5000 miles on it... The head was redone and then the engine threw a rod or something... New valves, looks clean... I was thinking about using it for me, but i don't know, and it's going to be a while before i can do anything of the sort. It's located in Albany, OR. Interested?

Why not just pull the head and take it to a machine shop? SHould be cheap to replace a valve... Less than the cost of two way shipping I would think...
