Final chapter intank pump story.... surprise ending 200 1989

Found that the plastic connector that is attached to the intank assembly had lost contact on the black wire that feeds the intank pump. When I broke it off I found corrosion in/under it. No need for me to bad mounth the ScanTech replacement pump installed last year- it was fine. Some soldering and silicone sealer and the pump is now functional. Thanks to all who responded.

FYI.....

Gasoline will eat through RTV (silicone rubber) quicker than it takes to post a message to the BB.

So I guess unless I go back and amend my repair the surprise ending hasn't happened yet... Thanks for the heads up Don
