I am looking for a rear spoiler or wing that mounts on the trunk for my 1989 244. I looked on several sites and in the want ads but am unable to find one for my brick.I know the earlier ones do not fit but can they be modified to work??

I've seen a factory Volvo decklid spoiler off a 93-97 854 mounted nicely on a 244. With a functional third brakelight.

hi there. i used the same one as i spotted on turbobricks from a early 80s trans am. although my car is a 85 and the trunk is shaped different than yours. there is a nice one pictured here on the b.b. i think its sterndog but not sure. oem volvo 86 to 93 i believe

Yup, it's me...86-93 factory spoiler came with the mounting kit too. Seller told me it was extremely rare. As Mike says, the guys on turbobricks are running a variety of spoilers ranging from later models of Volvo's to Saab's to the Trans Am spoiler (which is quite popular).
