Seatbelt locked, can't unlock. 700 1991

Hi,
After someone slammed my passenger door real hard, the passenger seatbelt is totally locked. Does anyone know how to unlock it?
Thank you very much.

I don't know which way it has locked up on you but if it is from the seat...I had a similiar problem once when I took out my drivers seat... check to make sure the bolt that mounts the seat belt is not loose and that it is lined up correctly. The unit may have moved so the weights are not working to your favor. Regardless, it will take a little patience on your part... try to get the seat belt in as far as possible (everytime) and keep moving the unit (a little to the left and right at an angle) and pull the seat belt out every time as far as possible till it hopefully loosens up for you. There is a small guide pin that you are going to have to make sure stays in it's hole while doing this. I suggest you find someone to assist you as it will be eassier when you figure out it's correct position to get that bolts in at that time. It took me a good 1/2 hour to get mine on right the last time.
