Does anyone have a rear muffler that will fit on my 1986 240dl for sale? I am not concerned with cosmetics, and price is the main issue.

You can order a new OEM muffler from FCP Groton for only $45.
Of course a junkyard system might be cheaper if you get lucky.

Sorry but no I do not have a spare but I am sure someone on here will.. The junk yards or pick and pulls usually get rid of them for around $5.00..You can also get a new generic from a parts store that has about the same measurements and adapt it,, as you said cosmetics is not the concern.. They can be had for anywhere from $9.00 to $20.00 american...Good luck....Max
