Looking for a 3rd brake light for my 740 sedan 700

Hello,
The previous owner of my '89 740 GLE, for some unknown reason, removed the entire 3rd brake light assembly from my car. I was wondering if anyone has an extra, or knows of a place I could find one. I've already called the local junkyards, but no luck yet.
Thanks,
-Fran

While at the pick-n-pull today I remembered your plight and pulled one out of a late model 740. You can have it for the $6.00 I paid (plus actual shipping). It is tan, but could easily be painted any color.

Send me an e-mail if interested.

Dan.

I don't know if you ever get up this way, but a Volvo shop in New London has several 700 parts cars. Surely the entire unit could be removed and put in yours for not much money. Possibly the glued-on bracket was lost due to the rear window being replaced at some time? One possibility I can think of anyway.
The shop is The Autowerkes, www.theautowerkes.com or (860) 443-1066. The cars are not in a typical junkyard setting, it's just a parking lot out back and everything's pretty neat and clean for what it is. The guys are very helpful.

Good luck with it.
