trouble locating a new 122 wagon winshield 120-130

I've spent two days calling all of the local windshield guys looked for a replacement for my cracked one.
Every single one says they can't find one... bummer.
I honestly didn't think it would be this difficult.
What's up with that?

Anyone have a source for windshields?

Call your nearest Volvo dealer (parts dept), they should be able to get one for you. I believe the part # for clear glass is 656843, for green tint is 671889.

How much "should" a new one run direct from dealer?

I've paid varying prices (purchased quite a few) but never paid more than $180.00

geez...it never crossed my mind to call the dealer...my other car is an MGB and there are no dealers.

Where do ya live? I know of a place in Portland (OR) that can order all kinds of exotic parts. I can't vouch for prices however. I do know they kind of specialize with the MGBs and Jags though...
