water cooled turbo plumbing???????????? 200 1982

Hi All,
would someone look under the hood of their water cooled 240t? Specifically the water connections to the turbo. I have the small hose coming off the "T" from the coolant reservoir going into the top of the turbo and the small hose coming off the "T" at the lower radiator hose going to the bottom of the turbo, does this sound correct? I have had this car apart for an extended time doing various repairs to it and want to be sure. I just completed the h2o turbo and intercooler switch yesterday.

Thanks

Dan

Yes, that is how I have it on my flatnose 242Ti and on the 244Ti. I wonder if it makes any practical difference though?

I dunno, kinda searching for a reason for overheat. I have been assembling this car since about early summer as time allows. I used turbo and turbo h20 plumbing from my parts car that had no overheat problems in the parts car with the radiator that is in my project car that also had no overheat issues, but now on assembly It overheats. I also changed out the heater hoses along with much other stuff( harness, all vac lines, water pump, t belt, etc). I may check over the weekend for coolant in the block by opening the thermostat neck...if empty(no flow through t stat) I will fill the block through there and test for overheat again.

      Thanks for the reply,

      Dan
