Senior moment on starter wiring 200 1991

Replaced my starter due to an intermittent solenoid. Had a senior moment during the job, forgot which wire connects where. Replacement is rebuilt Bosch, similar to previous. I know where the red battery and the yellow/blue ignition wires hook up, but am not sure where the second, slightly smaller red wire connects. My schematics shows a different setup than what i actually have on the car. Any info would help, especially if a photo is available. As for the senior moment, was a senior electronics tech for most of my career before retirement. Thx

P. S. The local public library has good collection of reference books with schematics of most cars. Copy the whole thing on their vending copiers, and get a much better electrical layout than the Haynes type books.

The 2Ga. wire from the battery and the ~8Ga. from the alternator both go on the same stud on the solenoid- the only one you had loose. Yel/blu from the ignition switch starter contact is the terminal marked 50. Nothing connects to the one marked 16. I think I qualify for your club.

Art and Maxspeed, thanks for the reply. Was just what I needed! Fortunately, I had gotten the starter at Pep Boys, with the lifetime warranty. So my outlay was the work to replace it. Why oh why did Volvo not put those bolts in from the front? Thanks again
