Now that I have some, I need to clean 'em up: Cabbie has Virgos!! 200 1989

I spotted a set on an old turbo 244 at the local garage about 6 months ago. The car's front end was wrecked and the insides were stripped out. I've been droolin over them everytime I drive by there..but I never called the guy about them. So..finally, one day I saw that someone had busted out one of the small rear windows..so I thought about making the garage owner an offer on the wheels since the car was sitting there taking up space. The garage owner said that someone had left the car there and not paid their bill. He also said that someone had busted the little window and taken the stereo and threw the original stereo in the back seat. He figured it might be the owners of the car giving up on paying their bill. Since the front end was wrecked and the car was missing the seats and stuff....the garage owner offered the wheels to me at $40 each. I examined each wheel and spun each one. The passenger rear side had a dent and lots of curb rash...but the other three wheels were in fair shape. I pulled 'em off and paid the nice man $120. I recently bought another single wheel for $25 at a local boneyard. Now I have FOUR!!

I wanna clean 'em all up. The tires are brand new!!

I used the local parts store mag wheel cleaner on mine,, Eagle One I believe..But then mine were not in too bad a shape,,There used to be a tire and wheel store around here that would use some type of machine and clean and polish them for $20 each.I would check the local tire stores and see if they provide that service..Other wise get the Mag cleaner and a good small brush and have fun.. Do not use a metal brush!! not sure if a brass parts brush is too much or not,, might scratch the wheel..Oh by the way,, make sure you do not lose the center caps on those babies,,the repalcements are expensive..
