1991 745 Turbo - LH 2.2 or LH 2.4 700 1991

Could someone tell which LH system I have on my 1991 745 Turbo?
Do I have LH 2.2 or LH 2.4?
PS. How did you guys find out? Is it part of my VIN code?

I thank you in advance for your replies.

Heh. I just asked this question less than one week ago.

    Here's a good answer I received:

I forgot to mention that the LH 2.2 doesn't have the self diagnostics connector on the driver's strut tower, while the Bosch 2.4 & Regina both have diagnostics.

Thanks for the quick and knowledgable reply everyone.
PS. I too did a "LH 2.4 ECU" search before posting this question and the search engine came back with "error." Thus I needed to post.

Volvo stopped using the LH 2.2 and started using the 2.4 in 1988. Yours is most likely the Bosch 2.4, but I think it could be the Regina system also. The dead giveaway is the shape & location of the ignition coil. Bosch uses a cylindrical coil on the passenger side while the Regina is a square coil on the driver's side. Hope this helps!
