My a/c was not cold last summer so I took to to my regular indy and it was look on freon ( the new stuff). Anyway, it was working well untill this week when sometimes it will blow cold air and sometimes none but it's not blowing hot air either. Can anybody help me diagnose this problem?? As I was driving to work today, the first 10 minutes the a/c was not working but I just kept in on anyway then half way to work it started blowing cold air again..hmmm..

    The first thing you want to check with a 940 is wheather your compressor is engageing, if not you may have the bad solder pin on your AC control board that all 940 have or will have in time.

    I had the same problem. I picked up a control unit on Ebay for $35 with shipping.

    Dear reysc,

    May this find you well. See post immediately below. Sounds as if the solder joints have failed, that connect the relay and/or main connector - inside the climate control unit - with the printed circuit board.

    If you're handy, you can repair this. A new air conditioning control module is very costly. If you're not handy with a soldering iron, you might be able to get a replacement module at a salvage yard.

    Post back if you need detailed guidance, on the doing of this repair.
