Seat Heaters 200

Ok I was in the mood,, Yes I have replaced them.. As said just remove the seats, take the covers off and replace them.. make sure that the pigtails are the same, i have seen replacements that have different types..There are no hold down clips or anything,,seems like a mickey mouse way to attach them but thats Volvo for you..Make sure that the wires run on the inside of the seat area near the hand brake so they are not running across the seats to the connectors...Max

I have not replaced mine but I did repair them. I took the seat out of the car, removed the seat cover, and found broken wires connecting the heater and thermostat. After years of pressure on the seats, the wires bend and break. Also, it is bad to press your knee on the seat heater.

If you haven't already, make sure you check all the wire connections on the old one before replacing the heater...
