more ground clearance 200

well there are some hefty speed bumps all around town, so i was wondering what were the tallest tires i could put on my 83 240 wagon. Im not looking for super swampers or anything like that, just something a little taller, and will be a good winter tire (lots o rain and a little snow/ice)

What wheels and tires are you currently using? Are your springs possibly sagging? If you don't resort to taller tires(which will also have an effect on your speedometer and odometer readings) you can put on some Heavy Duty springs that might help out a little bit as well. Let us know what you're thoughts are! Peace!

Why not get a set of turbo wheels(15") of a junker from the P&P?? then start looking at tire sizes..

On my old '80 wagon, I used 205/70-14's, and there was enough clearance to go 205/75-14 or even 205-14 (without an aspect ratio, the tire is nominally "81" per European standards). The trick is finding such sizes in any 14" tire, let alone a snow tire.
