I'm inclined to add a power antenna to our '92 244 and thought that a black mast would look better than the standard chrome masts you usually see. Has anybody come across a powder coated mast for volvo 240 powwer antennas? Thanks.

check Crutchfield.com - they offered identical pwr antennas, except for the mast color...chrome vs black. About $50. I got the black - it doesn't look that great frankly. And in cold weather, it seized and the (8-amp) fuse on that circuit wasn't enough to protect its wimpy wiring from melting. So there it sits - extended, fortunately.

Shop carefully, I get the feeling the aftermarket pwr antennas are pretty flimsy.
