    Good Day Steve,
I have an 89' turbo and the O2 is up inside the heat-shield that covers the down tube exhaust pipe on the exit side of the turbo,it is visible from the bottom. Also look for a single green wire that goes to a rubber looking connector on the firewall;that would be the signal wire if yours is so equipped.Hope this helps.
    Scott

Its only visible from down under.

get directly under the manifold just behind the turbo and look up.
Its screwed into the manifold and is very easy to access with a 02 wrench
and long socket extension. Takes maybe 10 minutes to remove and replace.

      good luck
