What size (mm) is the brake bleeder nipple?

I just replaced all the flexible brake line on my car and can't drive it until I bleed the brakes out. Unfortunately I have discovered that I don't have the right size wrench for the bleeder nipples. Can anyone tell me what that is? It would save me some money to know what to buy.

Thanks.

Usually 8mm (5/16") but often wimpy 1/4" on rebuilt calipers.

You should identify what car and year you have. It's easy to do, using the MODEL/YEAR choices on the response form. Bleed sequence is important on pre-ABS 240s.
