Why don't my intermittant wipers work, while the slow and fast speeds work fine? Is there a separate relay for the intermittant setting? Thanks! Dan

My 87 745's intermittant wipers failed to work while the two constant speeds were just fine. I found wiggling the wiper control stalk in the intermittant position would occasional cause it to work. As it turned out the problem was in the control switch ... I found a new wagon wiper switch/stalk was very expensive (100 bucks or so) I located a good used piece at my local Pick and Pull for ten bucks and now I have intermittant and constant speed wipers. So I would suggest you make sure the control switch is working properly. Hope this is of some help.

You are absolutely correct! The stalk is the problem, and when I hold it in the right position, the wipers work intermittantly. So I'll just add that to the list of parts I need from the yard. Next project: getting heated seats to work before winter comes! Dan
