Headlight Assembly Repair Question 900

I have a crack in the plastic structural part of my driver's side headlight assembly and was wondering if anyone has repaired this type of damage with plastic epoxy?

If you have done this repair with good results, which epoxy did you use?

I was looking at this product as a possible candidate.

Any input appreciated.

No...use a metal filled epoxy like JBWeld or somesuch. 900

The plastic bonder II is just that...bonds plastic.
I've had good luck with other metal filled epoxy from loctite too.

Used it to fix a broken wiper stalk on my 740T...although it wasn't strong enough so I had to drill axially for a piece of drill rod to pin the stalk ends together and use the epoxy to glue the stalk ends to the drill rod. But other epoxy should be enough to repair structural cracks (don't try to fix a cracked lens..just replace the lens/assembly.
