Hi all,

It's beginning to be that time of year again to find out what surprises the (slightly) colder weather is bring to the old girl.

This year it's a surging idle after a cold start that smooths out once the idle is warm and then it's fine for the rest of the day.

What is the list of things to do from most likely to least?

    Start with cleaning the throttle body, then the flame trap. Check the flex induct duct from AMM to TBI. Chaffing can occur on the underside and can lead to erractic idle. Also note condition of plugs, wires, air cleaner, rotor and cap. If warm air intake duct is still attached, check opps norm with air intake thermo.
