Hi,

I have an s70. I was wondering at what level my alternator should be charging?
My abttery went dead adn now they are saying I need a ndew alternator.

Let me guess. $500.00 and everything will be okay.

Take it off yourself and take it to a rebuild shop. It's probably something cheap, or not even the alternator at all; they can confirm its operation on their bench.
