Napa gold filters?

Hi all,
I've been using Napa gold oil filters on my 1989 240 dl (200000)Kms with Mobil 1 synthetic. I buy these soley because the nearest volvo dealer is 2hrs away in Toronto. I basically want to get your opinion on these filters. Are they good? Are thy crap?.

I've no idea but why not cut one open and have a look?

There's a display that you can see at some Volvo dealers where they have an OEM oil filter cut open so you can see the amount of filter material. Mann are also OEM.

Then compare to your NAPA.

You could blow those up and frame them and place them in a gallery and call them Art.

unless napa changed brands, the gold filters are made by wix. the lesser 1's, with 5 digits like 21307, might be made by purolator. off i go, chuck.
