Well i hit a deer at about 230 this morning and now i'm in the market for a hood, grill, and passenger side lights for a 1987 740 turbo. if anyone in the hudson valley area of new york has anything available i'd greatly appreciate it.

    There is A&T in Hyde Park(pick and pull). Also a scrap yard in Wappingers that you can probably have call you when they get a volvo in that is ready for the crusher. I think they will hold it for a day or two till you can pull the parts you want. This is what i have been told by someone who goes there. I don't know the name but there can't be more than one salvage yard in Wappingers. Just looked it up for ya. AW Scrap Processors- 845-831-1759.

    There's a guy near Schenectady with lots of parts who posts occasionally at the Brickboard Classifieds: Mark Williams whose moniker is "runindeer"

    If you feel like making a trip down to Connecticut, Autowerkes has several of the rectangular headlight cars for parts. (860) 443-1066 or www.theautowerkes.com.
    I could help with the install if it's on one of my days off (next Friday or the following week is good).
    For spares, all I have is a spare stock grille. I do know of a running, driving 240K mile 88 745 that will be for sale, for less than $500, in this area.

    I have no personal experience with this place, but it came highly recommeded by another BrickBoarder. I know it's not the Hudson Valley, but it's not too far, and the prices/selection seem to be fantastic. (Plus, they're open on Saturday!)
