Hello. I need to know what is the largest wheel and tire combination I can run on a 1974 145. Car has IPD springs and swaybars and Bilstein shocks.Currently running 205/55/15 on 6" Turbo wheels. How big can I go with minor mods-rolling fender lips, etc.Thanks for your help.

I'm running 205-75/15s on both my 69 164 (which probably has similar fenders)
and also my 66 122 wagon. Seem to work ok with only the most minimal
fender relief in the rear and nothing in front.

i put a pair of 17"x7.5 under my 74'145 . it is lowerd.. tires are 215/50 front
235/50 rear i think. just had to roll the rear fenders slightly. the wheels are for a 240. the the front wheel drive volvo 17" will fit also

volvo offsets if i remember right.
140...=43
240...=25
850,v70,ect...=40

The 140 has the 40mm offset and the 850 i think has 43, but it might have 40 as well... The even later volvos have even more offset... The 240s have 20mm offset, and the 700 series and pre95 900 series have 25mm offsets. =D I wish i had your wheels on my car, i want some 17's... Do you have any pictures?! PEace,
