    check with Olof at www.vintageimparts.com and I bet he has original upholstery to put back on the seat instead of covers.

    Depending on the year of your 544, I have a complete set of European, gray tweed covers from my 1960 Amazon previous owner. I know the 1960/61 front seats have an identical dimension and discomfort. If interested, e-mail off-line for pictures, dimensions, etc....
