WANTED:92-94 965 body... 900

My 94 had/has undetected front end damage and it's starting to concern me.Car looks and runs great except for a pull to the right.I would rather do an engine swap before spending big bucks to straighten a bent frame.

Car must be complete and un-molested.I dont want to rebuild another car,simply install my running engine.

I would also prefer it to be in the Louisville area.Not looking to spend big bucks on shipping either.

It needs to be a wagon and color is unimportant,even though mine is white w/gray interior.

eviltwin,the car was sold as is.i knew of the chance i was taking.
the ball joints,bushings,struts,basicly the entire front end needed rebuilt.so that took car of the handling issues i had(so i thought).and the engine compartment was very dirty so that covered up some of the actual,repaired damage.if i didn't check the timing belt the next day,the engine would have been toast within miles.the idler roller was rusty and leaning just ready to throw the belt.
just cost quite abit for the intial maint.
i'll drive it this way for it's life if need be,it's not that bad,just a constant pull to the right.
now i've dicovered rust thru at the bottom seam from the frame to the strut tower,right next to oriface tube location.if i do keep this car that requires immediate attention.
i needed a wagon quick when i purchased this one.i had just sold my 245glt to someone who needed a car bad,and realized what a terrible mistake i'd made.
this was the 1'st decent one i'd found,even though it needed work.
i was building my house and my little 318 didn't haul much.so it was part of the deal,over 20k miles ago,still going strong.

bru,the car has had a very hard impact sometime before i aquired it.the repair work to hide the fact was very well covered up.
i personally want an undamaged frame.there are structural defects now starting to appear.
i plan on keeping/driving volvo's for a long time.i dont want a bent and then stretched back frame,and drive along as nothing happened.
in my eye's,the cars integrity has been comprimised.
jr's is a very well respected name here in Louisville and i'm sure they'd do a good job.
the thing is,i'm driving a volvo for safty,i dont want to drive a wrecked one,no matter how well it was covered up.who knows,maybe jr's once did the repair job on mine.i did try to find out thru them after the damage was discovered.C&O Precision is the volvo collision specialist here and probably does that type of work for jr's 'as well as volvo'.they're a rip-off,i've dealt with them.
all i want is an undamaged,straight,accident free 960.
imagine that,a repeat 960 offender.once you experience the I-6,you'll never look back.

I'm curious, did the car have a salvage title or did you do a carfax on it and it showed up clean? If the vehicle had undisclosed damage, in some states you can go back to the seller for a refund or compensation.

Are you real sure you're looking at big bucks on the frame straightening? You might consult with the guys at JR's VOVO repair off Bardstown
Road near the Beuchtel bypass. (dunno if I got the name spelled right, I'm not from there) If the frame is realy a goner, they may have an idea on a source for the new body. They did a motor transplant into my '92 965 last spring.
