Does anyone know how to remove the coolant pipe that runs from the back of the water pump on a 3.0

    Besides removing all the attached hoses, there is a bolt around cylinder #5 that holds down the rear end of the pipe. Then it is just a matter of twisting and sliding it directly to the rear of the car. There is an O ring that makes the seal to the water pump. It probably seats about a 1/2 inch maybe.

      Along those lines - in order to remove the pipe on a Turbo model how much needs to be removed (component wise) in order to pull the pipe? IE - any one have a step by step break down?
