looking for a d-jet manifold. 140-160

i'm going to megasquirt my brick. need a d-jet manifold. i have more k-jet manifolds than i know what to do with, but no d-jet ones. i've got most every thing else i need.

does anyone have one they could part with?

or, can anyone send me to a place that would have one.

    The local "u-pull-it" (Pick-N-Pull, here) should have some. Here in Carson City (Nevada) there are half a dozen all awaiting the crusher.

    Why not just use the k-jet manifold? They look to be about
    as good, at least relative to carbs. The injectors are on the
    head so that shouldn't be a big deal, and you're going to have
    to swap out throttle position sensors on either one...

      the k-jet manifold has no place for a trottle position sensor. to adapt a 850 TPS to a d-jet manifold all i have to do is make an adapter plate. with the k jet it would take some welding ,and more machinig. i will be using the k-jet injector bungs on the head. they will be milled out to exept modern injectors.

        Oh -- I didn't realize the butterfly shaft wouldn't adapt easily to
        a throttle position sensor. Sorry about speaking only from my hazy,
        sun addled salvage yard memories.

    I think I saw one last Friday in a used-parts place here in Maine. If you don't find anything closer to home, e-mail me, and I'll check it out and see what the guy wants for it. I'll have to go back anyway to return a part that didn't fit the bill.

    I've got one here with me in New Zealand... Or at least I think it's a D-Jet manifold. Will have to dig it out of the garage. But I'm keeping it for my conversion! But please, please keep us updated through the process and feel free to ask questions. I'm an electronic engineer and I'm sure there are also other electronics-competent people on the forum that can help think through the problems.
