Water leak 900 1984

I have a 940 estate that has developed a water leak which appears on the passenger side between the wheel arch and the door. The water appears to be coming into the space from above the wiring. The panel between the bonnet and the windscreen has been taken off and all debris removed from underneath. Also drainage holes have been flushed out. The problem occurs whilst the car is parked - am able to drive through the worst downpours without any leaks!!!
Where do I look next? Any more hair pulled out and I will be bald.

Check the 700/900 FAQ (under "features" button above) regarding water leaks from the air vent panel seal up in front of the A-pillar. If this seal leaks, water can come in just as you describe.

Finally cured the leak.

Apparently the glue used to stick the windscreen in had rotted leaving a mass of rust and water was getting behind and running down inside the car.

Replaced the windscreen (got a new one in fact) but it took two goes for the fitters to finally get it right.

No more travelling paddling pool!
