240 Pinion Seal on Differential 200 1983

I read the FAQ for 700/900s, but wondered about the flange that has to be removed to change out the seal. The FAQ showed a special tool the author made, but I am not sure I can reproduce it. Anyone have any other ideas for removing the flange.

    Your local Auto Zone loans out tools and some rental shops also might have a tool for removing the flange on a differential. it is a tool you might use once in every 20 or so years on an advrage unless you work on cars a lot. Check them out and I am sure they can help.
