ok lets see i have problems with my ac. i replaced the evaporator core cause it had a crack in it. i also relaced the receiver drier. I was able to find some r12 and had my friend who runs a shop fill her up. the ac was working but the ac was not blowing good cold air. why would it do that? their is the proper amount of freon just letting you guys know. Because the air was not that cold i was not using it for a while. then one day it got really hotand i wanted semi cold air and then the compressor would not turn on when i hit the little ac button on the MCC.
note the MCC ac buttons light never turned blue like my buddys 740 wagon
the only way to get the compressor to run now is jump start it by disconnecting the plug right next the block and connecting one end to the alternator. i tried by looping a wire to the reciever driers connection plug-in and nothing. When we first filled the car up i was able to jump the compressor on their however now not able to. Can anyone lead me in the right direction. do i need a new MCC or some relay? can someone please give me some help i live in sacramento and its about 100 degree's everyday. thanks
