What are the special tools needed to install the vx cam into the 240. Going to install one and I need everything before doing the job. Would apprciate the help.

What are the clearances for the filler gauge on the cam? What specific settings to I need to adjust on the clearance.

hi there you need feeler guage offset kind is best, probably need valve shim kit, tool to remove valves shims or a makeshift tool, or install cam measure clearance remove cam change shims reinstall cam. micrometer to measure shims, engine assembly lube for new cam, valve cover gasket, cam seal front and plug for rear, bentleys manual would be nice. timing belt maybe. and the right sequence for removing the camshaft so it dont snap. i have only done three so im no expert.i probably forgot something some one else will catch that for sure. with much luck your valves clearance will be within specs but that kind of thing never happens to me. i read everything i can find before i try a job the first time. thats my experience. good luck
