Can you guys use RHD E-Codes? 200

I was having a look at Volvo bits on sale on Ebay Australia, and I noticed one of my countrymen (the moderator of OzHotVolvos, of which I'm also a member as it happens) is exporting itemes such as orange/clear split turn signals lenses, E-code headlights and other items which are hard to get in the States.

Can someone confirm that these would be the same as the European ones, with a little re-alignment for the beams? Just wondering if you guys can use headlights out of our junkyards.

I'll also keep an eye out for Australian flathood grills and the like.

Not a good idea to use RHD E-Codes in the states. As previously mentioned, they would only blind oncoming drivers and would not illuminate the right side of the road well at all(road signs, pedestrians, etc).

However, I could use a set of the chrome trim surrounds for my early LHD e-codes, they are the same as the RHD cars. I purchased a set from a gentleman in OZ about 2 months ago and they never arrived. First time I've been burned on an ebay transaction.

We can't use RHD lamps, You can since ya'll drive on the "wrong" side. All we would do here is piss off all the oncoming traffic while peering into the black void.

That's what I thought, otherwise I'd be stripping them off wrecks and sending them to you. Volvo did design them for possibly driving on the wrong side of the road. There's a section of the lense that UK drivers are instructed to tape over when driving in Europe, don't know how much vision you'd have.

It's a shame the fittings aren't symetrical, then you could just swap them round.

I'll keep an eye out for those trim rings.
