A/C Intake Vent 200

Im not sure where it is.Is it on the top of the dash in the middle? Or is it somewhere under the dash? I want to use something to get rid of the oder that you smell at start up of A/C.

it is pretty easy to get the the AC core on 240's - remove passenger kick panel and pull white plastic cover off the core's case, then you can slide the core out and remove other debris as well
but the main reason i got involved in mine was the slowly oozing black goo

Its not the AC inlet its the piping of the AC ducts. Remove ducts and wash with 50/50 bleach/water and dry well. Same for AC drip pan. You can also spray 50/50 mix into cowl duct to kill mole there as well.

There is a commercial spray that does same thing as well as Fabreeze, but cost is higher and does not always work. Humidity and spores can result in a "garden" in the AC and Cowl ducts.

That comes from the AC radiator like device under the dash. Probably you have a slightly plugged drain. It needs to be cleaned out and sprayed with a product from ACE hardware called Atmosclear. A great product which eliminates odor without perfumes. Turn the fan on high and spray some in the intake, behind the front hood, before the windshield - that's where the fresh air enters the cabin.
