No Fuel but Fuel Pump Works 200 1989

I have a 1989 245 DL non-turbo with B230F engine. I isolated my no-start to a lack of fuel going into the fuel rail. However, I changed the fuel filter and verified fuel was being copiously pumped out of the fuel pump. The fuel lines appear not to have any kinks or holes. Thanks in advance.

No Fuel but Fuel Pump Works 200 1989

In my '89 245 I delt with the very same problem yesterday.
Take the fuel pump relay out (it's white and located where a passenger might put their right foot). You have to take that piece of plastic off the side of the foot well and take that felt cardboard type stuff off as well. Then you can make a little jump wire to connect the left sides of fuses #4 to #6. I left the fuses in. That will get both pumps going and bypass the relay. When I did that the car started right up, I checked for vacume leaks and put everything back together. It has started every time since (with the same relay), although I haven't had it out on the road again yet. I plan to get an extra relay and keep it in the glovebox.
You might want to turn and/or check all the fuses before you go through all that though. It might save you some time.
I read in the archives that the white relays are notoriously unreliable.
