I emailed www.borton.com to get a parts quote for a center bearing and center bearing carrier a week ago, no response. Tried again, so far no response. Is this normal for them? I've never contacted them before and would like to do business with them, but if they don't reply how can I? I used the parts dept. email address on their website.

Takes them forever to quote email requests. Even though their website says "only email orders get the discount", I just call them and order what I need. Next time I call them I'll have to mention that their email response time needs improvement.

Just to confirm what others have said, their prices are by far the best. (Example: Exhaust Manifold Gaskets... Borton: $17.22 vs. Boston Volvo: $19.72. List price is $30.16.)

Yes, they deliver parts far faster than quotes. They were always about 40% off list as I recall. When I need Volvo dealer-only I just send Borton the order. I guess too much time is wasted dealing with shoppers, or they are overwhelmed with orders.

The list price is misleading. Their prices look much more impressive when compared to the list price, but my local dealer doesn't charge near these "list" prices. Still, the prices I've checked are about 20% off what my local dealer charges.
