Switch to 78 GT springs. 200 1987

I have to do some front end work and have a set of 78 gt springs 16mm, stock wagon front is 14mm that i may install. As well as the srut mount reinforcing plate. Are there any negative rammifications of this change. I have upper and lower cherry braces, strut to firewall braces, heavy duty sway bars(larger than turbos, smaller than IPD's. Poly bushings, and overload rear springs. The car really handles well even when fully loaded. Sears sruts up front lifetime warranty on the cartridge and labor. Ready for new ones.KYB gas rear, which worked well. 60k on strus and shocks. Any input on the changes. Thanks.Bob.

The R-sport springs on the '79 GT's (almost all) and on some lucky rare '78's are the best. 37% stiffer, you won't regret it as a handling upgrade. As long as you are sure you have the right springs, and it sounds like it.
