New Wheels 140-160 1969

Which late model wheels/tire combo will work on a '71 164? Anyone with experience in using them? I see from tech data that the "offset" is something like 43mm.....

I installed wheels from an 89 740 turbo on my 71 142E and they look great. They are 195/65/15's and I am happy with them. The car has no power steering but this is still not a problem.
Lots of wheels should fit your 164. Just start looking.

43mm is the same offset as FWD Volvos; lucky you.

how would some wheels off a v70 r be!! i have had good luck with putting 240 wheels on my 140. it has the same offset as a 164. the 240 wheels are a different offset so they widen your track like an 1.5" on each side. even lowered there is no fender issues. any 5 lug volvo wheel from the 140-160 till present should work...maybe not the 18"s. well best of luck.
