this arkansas heat is really not a good mix with vinyl seats, please tell me that it is the vinyl not breathing correctly and this is why i sweat so much even in cool air weather...i want to go cloth from IPD but there price tag is expensive for me right now....

anyone else have input on vinyl?

Buy cloth seats from a boneyard. I agree, vinyl should have been banned years ago.

The vinyl seats are great, -when you have a family of small children who spill everything.

Being a single adult male who occasionally takes long car trips (12-24 hrs on the road), I'm swapping in a set of blue cloth front seats from a 240 sedan. I'll leave the rear seat vinyl in case I'm transporting someones children.

Actually, as far as the sweat factor goes, I've found the opposite to be true, for me.

The real downside to vinyl seats is readily apparent when you've left the car in the sun all day and are wearing shorts. Youch!

Yes, this is common.

Just swap out a pair of seats from a Sedan. Those are cloth covered.

Either that, or get a cheap pair of seat covers.

yeah the vinyl does get hot in the sun, nto fun...

maybe ill look into some sedan seats...if i can find any..haha

any one in arkansas have a set of sedan cloth, or ANY cloth seats they would like to get rid of?

What color are you looking for, and what's the year of the car? (The headrests changed in '86, but older seats will still bolt in, and vise versa.)
