Gang, I am about to upgrade to jumbo brakes from my stock brakes.

I caught a piece of a post a while back I think that said jumbos might not work with 14 inch rims.

Can anyone confirm this?

    won't work. Will not work even with the 15" Virgo 244 Turbo rims. Best bet would be get rims from a turboed 740.

      aww piss... dammit! I already ordered pads.

      THis is definitely something that needs to be added to the FAQ!

      The 740 Turbo rims are 16" right?

        Turbo rims on the 740 came in 15" or 16" depending on year.

        For trivia buffs they were the Dracos and Hydras respectively.

    jumbo brakes... the 11" conversion with the single jumbo pistons found on the 940's

      Thanks, I wasn't aware of that conversion. I would assume that since you are using what is essentially an ABS setup for the conversion that the wheels will not fit as those wheels are not swappable to an ABS car.
